Corvelli Construction’s Management Team has diverse experience in every facet of construction.
Each member of Corvelli Construction’s team is intimately familiar with pre-construction,
design/build, project management, construction management including but not limited to reviewing
and approving work quality, creating and executing aggressive project schedules, daily construction
supervision and inspection, bidding and negotiating contracts and dealing with changed conditions
and new owner requirements, value engineering, and insuring that products used have received a
thorough life-cycle analysis, coordinating questions and resolutions with the owner and architect and
maintaining constant financial and data control on the project in order to insure a smooth transition from
construction to operation.

Gianni Corvelli
Gianni M. Corvelli brings over 25 years of expertise in the construction industry, consistently delivering success across all phases of multimillion-dollar construction projects, infrastructure development, and environmental initiatives for both government and private-sector clients. With a comprehensive background spanning corporate management, construction management, general contracting, estimating, sales, and purchasing, Gianni has held pivotal roles such as Estimator, Foreman, and Project Manager. Currently, he oversees the operations of Corvelli Enterprises and Corvelli Construction Group LLC.
Gianni’s professional portfolio encompasses new building construction, renovation projects, tenant improvements, and high-stakes contract negotiations with owners, architects, and engineers. His leadership extends to the seamless execution of diverse construction and demolition projects, where he applies his technical expertise and industry insights to deliver superior outcomes.
Renowned for his commitment to excellence, Gianni excels in managing field operations, optimizing project schedules, enforcing cost controls, and coordinating subcontractor performance. Robert E. Mazzatta
At Corvelli Commercial Construction, Robert plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth initiatives within the commercial construction sector, with a focus on multi-family residential projects. His leadership is instrumental in the successful completion of numerous high-profile projects, including a substantial remodeling effort in West Nyack, New York. These accomplishments highlight the team’s unwavering commitment to quality and innovation in complex and demanding environments.
Leveraging an extensive professional network and FAA-certified drone piloting skills, Robert ensures that each project not only meets but exceeds client expectations. Project Executive
James W. Thorpe
James Thorpe brings over 38 years of expertise in commercial and residential building, multi-family developments, and land acquisition. With a comprehensive background in all phases of development and construction project management, he excels in land acquisitions, design, estimating, procurement, materials management, capital improvement forecasting, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Mr. Thorpe has held executive roles in real estate investment and development firms, showcasing his leadership and strategic vision. Most recently, he served as Managing Partner of Triangle Development LLC, where he successfully developed six multifamily retirement communities comprising over 1,100 units. Prior to that, he was the East Coast Director of Redevelopment for AIMCO, overseeing the redevelopment of more than 700 units, which achieved a remarkable 98% occupancy rate upon completion.
In the multifamily development sector, Mr. Thorpe has managed the construction of nearly 900 units across three separate projects, demonstrating his ability to deliver large-scale, high-quality developments. He also served as the Director of Construction for the Riverside Arms project in Newark, NJ, where he played a pivotal role in the acquisition and development of a 120-unit, nine-building property.

Estimator / Sr. Construction Manager
Michael G. Elias
Michael G. Elias holds an AAS Degree in Electrical Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Michael has built a distinguished career encompassing a wide range of roles, including Estimator, Senior Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, Construction Executive, and the daily operations of both large and small mechanical and general contracting companies.
Michael’s expertise spans key areas such as management, estimating, sales, purchasing, engineering and design, project management, energy management and conservation, and Value Engineering. His portfolio includes new construction, building alterations, utility construction and retrofits, and creative engineering solutions for unique challenges. Michael is also adept at negotiating contracts and collaborating with owners, architects, and engineers to deliver successful outcomes.
As Senior Construction Manager, Michael oversees the on-site Construction Management Team, acting as the key liaison with the Design Team and the Owner. His responsibilities include approving all field operations, managing project schedules, coordinating project phases, ensuring timely completion, conducting inspections, implementing cost controls, and supervising subcontractor performance. Additionally, in his role as Estimator, Michael evaluates costs for subcontractors and changes in project scope.

Richard A. Hutwohl
Richard Hutwohl is an enterprising and enthusiastic professional with extensive expertise in commercial construction management. Over the course of his successful 28-year career, he has overseen the construction management of more than 5 million square feet of office buildings, retail spaces, flexible industrial facilities, and warehouse properties across six states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky.
A dependable manager dedicated to achieving client satisfaction and aligning with corporate objectives, Richard excels in adapting to market conditions and addressing client needs with creativity and precision. His proficiency in negotiations with clients, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and tenants ensures smooth collaboration and optimal project outcomes.
Richard’s expertise extends to coordinating all aspects of construction projects to maintain efficient workflows, budget adherence, and strict time constraints. He is also highly cognizant of environmental factors that may impact project execution, integrating sustainable practices whenever possible.
